As we’re transitioning into this temporary online Home Based Learning, some things are still required by the District and by the State.
One of the things is Attendance.
By Global Outreach Policy, attendance will be required to be submitted in Google Classroom daily between the hours of 8 am – 8 pm.
When the student logs into Google Classroom, the first thing the student has to do is answer “Here” to the Daily Attendance Question posted by the teacher.
For Cub Campus students:
Parents you will have to help your child submit their “Here” for daily attendance.
If a student does not respond to the Attendance question by 8 pm, the student will be marked Absent for the day.
Dinner now served at select school locations
March 30, 2020 – Beginning this week, more meals will be available to students and families in need.
Duval County Public Schools has announced that supper will now be available to be picked up at 71 select school locations.
“We are pleased to expand our meal service to include supper under the Child Care Feeding Program (CCFP) at 71 school locations across the district,” said the district’s director of food service, Jane Zentko. “This program allows us to provide more food to students that rely on school food service for their nutrition, especially at this difficult time.”
Breakfast and lunch are still available at Pick-up school locations below.
Pickup times for ALL MEALS are 11 a.m.- 1 p.m.

1. All student ages 5-18 are eligible
2. ID’s are not being checked
3. Students must accompany parents to obtain the meals
It has been officially announced by Duval County Public Schools that we will be continuing our home-education program until May 1.

March 31, 2020 – Following the recommendation of the Florida Department of Education, Duval County Public Schools will remain on home-based education through May 1, 2020, for the health and safety of students, staff and the community.
