Global Outreach Charter Academy To Open New InterCoastal Campus

GOCA Provides Local Families A Public Funded Education With A Private School Experience

Global Outreach Charter Academy is launching its fourth campus in Jacksonville this upcoming 2022 – 2023 School Year. GOCA at InterCoastal will be located on the corner of McCormick Rd and Kernan Blvd. This is an excellent example of the academy’s continued growth in Duval County since opening its first campus to Jacksonville families in 2009. The school says it’s dedicated to allowing parents and guardians to give their children access to a tuition-free education with a private school experience.

“The thing that is special about GOCA at InterCoastal is that our teachers truly understand that each child is precious, and we need to meet them where they are, celebrate that, and then celebrate their growth throughout the year.” – Greg Stickel, Principal of GOCA at InterCoastal

GOCA at InterCoastal will be a K- 8 school. Today, it is actively pre-enrolling students for grades K – 4.

In its first year, the school’s goal is to provide a learning environment that focuses on each student’s social, emotional, and physical needs and academic achievements. This will be done by cultivating strong teacher-student relationships through smaller classroom sizes and the use of state-of-the-art classroom technology.

“Our school will focus on higher academic expectations, higher behavior expectations, but more importantly, it will focus on the whole child. Schools that focus on relationships and the needs of every child create a much richer experience for students.” – Greg Stickel, Principal of GOCA at InterCoastal

Parents and guardians can schedule a personal tour of GOCA’s InterCoastal campus by calling the school’s front office at (904) 650-2100 or emailing icinfo@gocacademy.com. Families are also invited to attend information at the new campus on Thursday, May 19th at 6:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday, May 31st at 6:00 p.m.
